Coureurs de Bois Trail Run/Relay/CaniCross
Alpine Valley Ski & Golf Resort is the new home of this great event, and we could not be more excited!

The 8th Annual Coureurs de Bois (which means to run in the woods) Trail Run and Relay and Canicross, is a perfect way to kick off the start of Fall and our 2022-23 Canicross Season.

The distances are 4 and 8 miles for runners, walkers & hobblers with or without a dog and 4, 8, 12, and 16 miles for runners with or without a dog.
Canicross will start at 10:20 and Trail Event at 10:30.

The trails will take you up, down and around the ski slopes and are almost all single track. Yes, they are challenging and lots of elevation changes throughout. We will have some great swag as always, and trail cameras located on the course to get the perfect picture!

Once done hang out and socialize at the base of the ski hill enjoying food and drink.  The unexpected but new tradition many have accepted in the past several events we have held there is running up/down the highest ski slope once you are finished. The current record is 5 times!!!
If you would like to stay at the Alpine Valley Resort as they have rooms steps from the start/finish.

Online sign up will close on Friday, Sept. 23rd at 10am. Race Day packet pickup and same day signup will start at 9:15am. Friday Packet pickup  will be from 11:30am to 5:00pm at Kenosha Running Company, 1706 - 22nd Ave., Kenosha.

the Red White & BluePROGRAM
Starting with our September 19th event... the Kenosha Running Company is humbled and thankful to announce that all military veterans, active duty serviceman, reserves, police, sheriffs and their spouses will be able to run/walk ALL of our events for FREE. The past few years we selected about 70% of events to be free, but I think it is about time that I stepped up with the support of all you and simply make them all without charge and with your collective thank you.

The past sixteen months have been especially tough for our law enforcement in Kenosha, surroundings area and throughout the country. The most recent deaths of thirteen young Marines in Kabul, only confirms this update in our Red White & Blue Program is warranted.  Those that have supported our Military program in the past... a huge thank you.  Those that have served us locally and internationally I am humbled and thankful for your service.

If you qualify, please email us or call (262) 925-0300 to receive a discount code for the FREE entry. Please note, you will have to show proper identification at packet pick up.  Please consider a donation to support this program so it will be maintainable and sustainable for many years to come.  Donations may be made online with your race registration to the Red, White & Blue Program or simply mail your check (made out to Kenosha Running Company) to KRC, P.O. Box 126, Kenosha, WI 53141.
