The Barkside of Winter
Seno K/RLT Conservancy is the perfect host for the annual The Barkside of Winter. This beautiful park and trails take you through upland forest, wetlands, oak savanna remnants, and prairie areas. The 2.5 mile looped course is mostly double-wide trails.
Canicross event starts at 10:20am and you can bring a non-dog running partner with you, they need to sign up as well. But we do not want to split up friends or family members that enjoy running together with a single dog.
Plan on joining us and being a kid again! The snow-covered trails (fingers crossed) will be all you need to remember the fun you had making snow angels, snowpeople (or snowdogs), snow tunnels, and having snowball fights. (But please only start a snowball fight on the trail with willing participants!) You can tromp through the woods on a 2.5 mile loop, up to 4 loops or 10 miles.
AND... just like when you were a kid, we will be waiting for you with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a warm soup (projected menu) as you enjoy the company of your fellow trail enthusiasts. Please BYO dessert to share! Surprise swag, fun awards, and great company make the ending of your The Barkside of Winter one of the most fun things you can do outdoors in February with your favorite running partner.
These events are perfect for all fitness levels and is dog-friendly for those not interested in the CaniCross Event. For all CaniCross event information, please visit www.TrailDogRunners.com.

the Red White & BluePROGRAM
Starting with our September 19th event... the Kenosha Running Company is humbled and thankful to announce that all military veterans, active duty serviceman, reserves, police, sheriffs and their spouses will be able to run/walk ALL of our events for FREE. The past few years we selected about 70% of events to be free, but I think it is about time that I stepped up with the support of all you and simply make them all without charge and with your collective thank you.
The past sixteen months have been especially tough for our law enforcement in Kenosha, surroundings area and throughout the country. The most recent deaths of thirteen young Marines in Kabul, only confirms this update in our Red White & Blue Program is warranted. Those that have supported our Military program in the past... a huge thank you. Those that have served us locally and internationally I am humbled and thankful for your service.
If you qualify, please email us or call (262) 925-0300 to receive a discount code for the FREE entry. Please note, you will have to show proper identification at packet pick up. Please consider a donation to support this program so it will be maintainable and sustainable for many years to come. Donations may be made online with your race registration to the Red, White & Blue Program or simply mail your check (made out to Kenosha Running Company) to KRC, P.O. Box 126, Kenosha, WI 53141.
